CAS Christmas November 2019 Top Picks

So many warm and cozy cards this month.  As always it was hard
to choose a winner.

Our Top Pick for November
Claire

Claire‘s CAS snowy scene with this sweet bunny wearing her warm and
cozy pink hat is simply adorable.  Love the Pom Pom and her
no line pencil colouring is beautiful.

Congratulations, Claire

Christmas is next month (yikes!) and I hope this month’s Warm and Cosy theme will help you complete your Christmas cards.  Winters here can be wet and dreary.  Keeping warm and cosy helps make it tolerable.  From bundling up to sitting in front of a fireplace or sipping on a hot beverage... whatever makes you think of warm and cosy at Christmas, let’s see it!

Please follow the challenge rules:
    • Christmas cards only following monthly theme
    • CAS design (clean and simple) - definition on sidebar
    • Include link to challenge on your blog post

    Bobby

CAS Christmas October 2019 Top Picks

We had a fabulous turnout for this challenge - thank you so much to all who entered.  Choosing the winner and the Top Picks was really difficult as I loved so many of the cards and their great depictions of the kind of winter scenes I love but don't get to experience in the climate I live in.

      Our Top Pick for (Month)
      Jane
Everyone on the Design Team loved Jane's card.  The gorgeous shades of pink make me think of both sunrises and moonrises that I've seen when I've been in eastern Canada in winter.  Despite those warm colour tones, you can still feel the chill of winter from the long shadows beneath the deer and trees and from the added bits of glitter giving the sparkle of the snow.  The deer, trees, and birds are perfectly positioned to give balance to the scene.  All in all, a fabulous card.

      Congratulations, Jane!

        CAS Christmas October 2019 Challenge

Welcome to a new challenge, hosted by Susan.

Check out the Top Picks from September's Holiday Treat challenge HERE.

        Message from Susan
I live in the Pacific Northwest so more often than not, my typical winter scene is grey and rainy.  To make up for this, I love to make what I call true winter scenes - snowy, sparkly, frosty!  It could just be a scene or it could be places you'd like to be on a snowy day or activities you'd like to do outside at Christmas time.  That's what I'm looking for with this month's challenge.

        Please follow the challenge rules:
          • Christmas cards only following monthly theme
          • CAS design (clean and simple) - definition on sidebar

          Thank you!!!

Welcome to our wonderful Guest Designer Lyn (Lyn's Paper Petunia).
